What’s Different in Qatar 2022?

Unlike its successors, the 2022  FIFA World Cup will be the Winter World Cup, and the weather conditions in Qatar during the summer are too extreme for football. This is the second time this tournament has been held in Asia and the first time in the Middle East.

The league soccer season will be suspended midway through for international tournaments. There is concern among the football community whether it will affect the freshness of players who usually make it to the previous peak event when played at the end of the football season.

On the pitch, Italy failing to qualify for the tournament for the first time in a row the second time in its history is excellent news. Especially with the label of undefeated European Champions that was won less than a year ago. For two of the greatest iconic names in the Game’s history, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, it was probably the last dance on the big stage.
